"SKY ESCAPE" commercial SS20

Overview

Five years ago, I had the opportunity to shoot and create the SKY ESCAPE SS20 commercial, capturing the essence of freedom, movement, and style. Shot on the Sony A7SII with a Canon 24-70mm f2.8 L II, the project was a visual journey designed to highlight the collection’s sleek aesthetic and dynamic energy.

Challenges & Approach

The challenge was to translate the brand’s vision into a cinematic experience—one that evokes a sense of escape and weightlessness. By utilizing natural light, fluid camera work, and strategic framing, I emphasized both the movement of the models and the intricate details of the collection. The A7SII’s low-light capabilities allowed for dramatic contrasts, while the 24-70mm lens provided flexibility in capturing both intimate close-ups and sweeping, atmospheric shots.

The final commercial delivers a bold, visually striking narrative that seamlessly blends fashion with storytelling. Every frame reflects the essence of Sky Escape, evoking a sense of adventure and limitless possibilities.
